Payment

  1. What if my friends and relatives would like to buy me gifts and pay in cash?

    TheGiftery.com offers buyers to order and pay online by credit card or by cash upon delivery.

  2. How can I purchase a gift from someone's gift list?

    If you would like to make a direct purchase, you will need to be registered. Once registered you can access the list by entering the name or gift list number in the search box; invisible lists only appear by their number. You may also browse the gift lists by clicking on the gift list tab.

    Once you have found the gift list, click to enter its profile. If the list is private or invisible, you will be required to enter a password provided by the gift list holder.

    The profile will contain a list of items selected by the gift list holder and the quantity needed. To order the gift(s) simply choose the quantity of the items you wish to purchase. Then, click "add to cart" and this will redirect you to checkout. Note: You can only purchase gifts from a single list at a time.

    If you are sending your gift to the gift list holder(s), the gift list holder `s address will not appear; they will be referred to by the label chosen.

    If you will receive the gift or if you are paying by cash collection, the address entered during registration will automatically appear, please verify this is correct.

    Once you have completed your payment, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you and to the gift list holder with the delivery time indicated.

Create a List

  1. How do I create a gift list on TheGiftery.com?

    In order to create a gift list, you need to register on the website. Once registered, you must click on "Create List". Once you have entered the details of your event, you will then be able to browse the website for gifts. To add an item, just click on "Add to Gift List". You will be able to change the quantity of the items added on your list`s profile.

  2. How long will my gift list appear on TheGiftery.com?

    Gift lists will be active for a period of six months after the event date. This is also the case if all the gifts from your list have been purchased.

    You are free to cancel your list at any time, however the TheGiftery.com is not responsible for gifts purchased from a list that has been cancelled prior to completion.

  3. How many gift lists can I create from my account on TheGiftery.com?

    Each account is allowed one active gift list at a time. Once a new Gift list is created the old one will be cancelled.

    Gift lists are automatically cancelled after 6 months from the "event" date.

  4. What is the difference between private and public privacy settings for my gift list?

    You have the option to set your privacy settings to public (without a password for viewers) or private (protected with a password). You will then need to give your friends and relatives, who would like to buy from your gift list, the password to view your list on TheGiftery.com. If you choose the public setting, your list will be easily viewable in the gifts lists page and maybe on the homepage of TheGiftery.com.

    In both cases; public or private, your personal information and your shipping address you filled out when registering will not be viewable publicly. TheGiftery.com is committed to keeping your
    personal data and information private

  5. How do I revisit my gift list?

    Once registered, you can access your gift list by going to 'LOGIN' on the homepage of the website and entering your email address and password.

  6. What if I forgot the password to my gift list?

    On the 'LOGIN' page, you will find 'forgot your password? Click here' which will then ask you for your email address only. You will then receive an email with your old password which will need to be reset. The email will also contain a link that will take you to a page to enter your old password and enter a new one.

    You will then be able to access your account and gift list. Note: the website will not allow 2 accounts
    for the same email address.

    If you try to register and create a new account using the same email address, the system
    will notify you that an account already exists with the same email address.

  7. What if I would like to go to the store and pick items for my gift list myself?

    You have the option to create your list online by shopping the items inside each of our stores or in store.
    If you create a gift list in one of our stores, just remember to request from the store that you would like your list to be posted on TheGiftery.com. You will then only need to register and we will add the items you chose in store on your gift list online.

    All you'll need to do is tell your friends to shop your gift list on www.thegiftery.com

  8. What other services does TheGiftery.com offer when creating my gift list?

    To help you have different price ranges within your gift list and help accommodate having expensive items, we are able to break up an expensive item into units to have several friends or relatives purchase this single item. For example, if an item costs 1000EGP, you can break it up into 2 units of 500EGP or even 4 units of 250EGP.

    In addition to the above, TheGiftery.com team has prepared a wedding registry checklist for those interested and in the process of getting ready for the big day. The checklist serves as a user friendly guide to help you remember the things you'll need in each room of your new home. From setting the table to outdoor accessories, the checklist will help you go through every little detail you may need.

  9. What are the benefits for having my gift list on TheGiftery.com

    You receive 5% of the total amount spent from your list in cash back if your friends and relatives buy 3000EGP or more from your list.

Refunds and Exchanges

  1. Can I return or exchange a gift received from TheGiftery.com?

    Yes

  2. How can I retrun/ exchange a gift bought from TheGiftery.com?

    Items may be returned or exchanged in-store within 14 days depending on the item`s condition. The condition of the item will be determined by the store. It is your responsibility to contact the supplier from which the item was bought if you wish to return or exchange an item.

    There are exceptions to this standard policy; to find out more information check out the stores' profiles.

    All vouchers are non-refundable.

    In the event where a gift purchased online is not available from the supplier, the purchaser will be entitled to a full refund. This is a policy put forward by TheGiftery.com in agreement with the suppliers featured on the website.

Delivery

  1. How long will it take to deliver items once purchased from TheGiftery.com?

    TheGiftery.com offers next day delivery if the order is placed before 3 p.m.

    There are some exceptions depending on the nature of the gift; for instance, flowers are delivered within 2 hours and some hand-made items takes several days.

    These exceptions will be mentioned in the product profile.

  2. Where does TheGiftery.com deliver?

    TheGiftery.com delivers throughout all of Egypt. We can even deliver to your beach house on the North Coast and/or Ain Sukhna.
